![]() ![]() Bellomo, no age or address listed, was cited for an unspecified violation following a two-vehicle crash in the 2500 block of East State Street at 12:22 p.m. Police will review surveillance video of the area. Saturday by a woman who reported someone had entered her unlocked vehicle since 3:15 p.m. ![]() Police were flagged down in the 1100 block of East State Street at 4:11 p.m. Officers assisted the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force with a sex offense arrest in the 100 block of West State Street at 4:31 p.m. Marian Brady, 36, Canton, was cited for driving under suspension after a random registration check on her vehicle on Alliance Salem Road showed the owner to be suspended at 12:10 a.m. Natsuko Merrick, 51, East Rochester, was cited for speeding after her northbound vehicle on Main Street was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 7:10 a.m. Kassondra Peterson, 36, Salem, was cited for driving under suspension after a random registration check on her vehicle on Alliance Salem Road showed the owner to be suspended at 3:35 p.m. Luis Garcia, 31, Salem, was cited for driving under suspension, stemming from a traffic stop after his vehicle was observed not to make a complete stop before turning right at a red light on Youngstown Salem Road at 7:40 p.m. Abigaill Vaughn, 25, Girard, was cited for driving under suspension after a random registration check on her vehicle on Western Reserve Road showed the owner to be suspended at 7:40 p.m. Jentry was also cited for failure to dim and driving without a license. Jentry was ordered out of the vehicle and placed under arrest for the warrant and transported to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office to transfer custody to Canton police. The driver was identified as Jentry Ross, 32, Alliance, and found to have a warrant out of the Canton Police Department for assault, with multiple violent priors including conspiracy to commit murder. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on West South Range Road at 10:42 p.m. Officers checked around the house and didn’t see any signs of her on the premises and stayed outside and looked around for a time to see if she would turn up, but she did not. Officers had dispatch check the mother, Megan Detchon, 34, for any active warrants, and they found an active warrant out of Boardman. Officers advised him the juvenile couldn’t be out after curfew, and he advised he understood. Officers transported the juvenile to her mother’s house, and were met by the juvenile’s grandfather, and advised that the mother was not present. ![]() She advised officers she was out for a walk and identified herself and her parents. June 27 observed a female juvenile walking near Walter Street and asked her if she was okay, and what her name was. Officers on patrol on state Route 344 at 12:41 a.m. Officers advised their parents of the curfew law and that they couldn’t be in the park after close. The juveniles were polite and respectful, and no damage nor vandalism was found at the park, and officers transported them to their homes. The juveniles advised they had just been talking at the gazebo, and officers advised them of park hours and that they were in violation of curfew. June 27 observed two male juveniles in Wick Park after hours, speaking with and identifying them. Officers on patrol on Elm Street at 2:06 a.m. ![]() Officers contacted the humane agent who responded and picked up the dog. The caller was holding the dog and advised that she was worried about the dog being hit due to its blindness. Officers responded to the Shell gas station at 4:10 p.m. Abbadi was very polite and respectful during the arrest process at the police department and while transporting him to the Columbiana County Jail. Officers identified both, finding Abbadi had a warrant out of the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office, taking Abbadi into custody and issuing a warning for Heverly. Officers advised him to stand in front of the car and advised the first vehicle’s driver, Allison Heverly, 23, Leetonia, why they pulled her over. A man, Daoud Abbadi, 26, Youngstown, got out of the second vehicle and stood by the first vehicle’s drivers side door in the driveway. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle as it arrived at a residence in the 200 block of High Street. June 30 observed a vehicle going the wrong way down a one-way road on Main Street, with another vehicle following behind. ![]()
